How to Get Rid of Keep Cop Malware from Your Computer

If you have spent any time around a computer you are more than aware that there are countless malicious programs out there that only require a few moments to turn your computer experience into a living nightmare. One such program called Keep Cop is a rogue anti-spyware is just such a program and if it is not taken care of quickly enough can cause you some serious computer issues not to mention the headache of getting a professional to get rid of the problem for you.

The name Keep Cop does not necessarily sound like something you should be afraid of. Designed to take advantage of PC users who may not necessarily be on top of everything going on inside their computer. Counting on this to happen they offer these people an ultimatum, either pay for a copy of Keep Cop or constantly worry that you PC and the personal information on there is in danger of being compromised and this is why you need to get rid of Keep Cop quickly.

To make the whole show more convincing Keep Cop will install several small files all over your computer. These files appear as pop ups and tell you that these files are malware and spyware infections your PC is suffering from and that only this software will be able to delete the infection and if you do not get rid of Keep Cop from your computer these messages will keep appearing every few minutes.

In order to make the facade complete you will begin to receive constant popup messages telling you that your computer is vulnerable to attack from an external source and that you may either lose data or even lose access to your personal files that are shared with a 3rd party. While it may sound like it’s a lot of stuff to put into one malware program to get people so scared they purchase a bogus program, believe me, more and more people fall victim to this every day.

Now, once on your computer, the process of finding out how to get rid of Keep Cop is a rather detailed and in some cases a delicate one. You will have to go through your system and dig out several files to delete. But if you are not very familiar with your computers operating system then doing that can cause you even more problems than you had before if you are not careful.
