How to Get Rid of Keep Cop Malware from Your Computer

If you have spent any time around a computer you are more than aware that there are countless malicious programs out there that only require a few moments to turn your computer experience into a living nightmare. One such program called Keep Cop is a rogue anti-spyware is just such a program and if it is not taken care of quickly enough can cause you some serious computer issues not to mention the headache of getting a professional to get rid of the problem for you.

The name Keep Cop does not necessarily sound like something you should be afraid of. Designed to take advantage of PC users who may not necessarily be on top of everything going on inside their computer. Counting on this to happen they offer these people an ultimatum, either pay for a copy of Keep Cop or constantly worry that you PC and the personal information on there is in danger of being compromised and this is why you need to get rid of Keep Cop quickly.

To make the whole show more convincing Keep Cop will install several small files all over your computer. These files appear as pop ups and tell you that these files are malware and spyware infections your PC is suffering from and that only this software will be able to delete the infection and if you do not get rid of Keep Cop from your computer these messages will keep appearing every few minutes.

In order to make the facade complete you will begin to receive constant popup messages telling you that your computer is vulnerable to attack from an external source and that you may either lose data or even lose access to your personal files that are shared with a 3rd party. While it may sound like it’s a lot of stuff to put into one malware program to get people so scared they purchase a bogus program, believe me, more and more people fall victim to this every day.

Now, once on your computer, the process of finding out how to get rid of Keep Cop is a rather detailed and in some cases a delicate one. You will have to go through your system and dig out several files to delete. But if you are not very familiar with your computers operating system then doing that can cause you even more problems than you had before if you are not careful.

Edgy Technology

Getting things done is one of the hottest topics sweeping through the business world over the last few years. The quest for ultimate productivity.

There are books and charts and a million different perspectives on the subject. And yet there is still room to do better.

What if you could get things done without feeling chained to a formula? What if there was technology to help you stay productive? What if this technology fit nicely into your existing schedule and emailing platform?

Meet Liaise.

Liaise is an add-on for Outlook that reads the emails you write and creates tasks based on the requests to send to other people. It then attaches reminders and deadlines and stores it all next to the rest of your business stuff.

Pretty cool, huh?

Getting started with Liaise could not be any easier. No need to register anything or create any type of account. Just download the plug-in from the website and install it on all the computers where you have Outlook.

Once you have Liaise in place inside Outlook, you can select that all messages you write have the additional Liaise task tracking automatically added.

Here’s what you’ll see. Next to each paragraph you’ll have the option to create action items and track the results of the requests that you make. Name a general time you want to get things done (e.g. like “mid next week) or add it to your calendar on a specific day (e.g. Wednesday).

You can do a bunch of reporting and tracking right inside the Liaise functionality that’s embedded into Outlook. You can see what needs to be done today, next week, or “sometime next month”. You can track it by project name or person, by priority, or by upcoming deadline. Chose what’s important to you at the time.

And there’s more for you to do.

You can work through the Liaise options yourself and set it up so it works the way you want to work.

If you are serious about getting things done. Try Liaising.

It makes things easy.

Common Keyboard Problems

Keyboards are always used with a computer. Problems with keyboards rarely occur. However, when they do occur, it is really terrible. You can never use a computer without a keyboard (referring to traditional laptops and desktop computers). If you have a defective keyboard, it is like you own a computer that is useless. An example of a keyboard problem is when your computer starts to boot with your keyboard still working but later malfunctions when the booting process is almost done. Your operating system loads, but there are keyboard functions that you really cannot use. For example, you cannot press ctrl+alt+delete in emergency situations. There are many other problems that you might encounter with the use of keyboards. Let’s try to enumerate them and see what fixes can be made when we do encounter them.

1. Keyboard malfunctions when the operating system loads. Booting up process indicates that your keyboard is ok because you can press the F1, Del or F8 keys. However, when the operating system (like Windows XP or Windows 7) takes over, all keyboard functionality vanishes.

2. Keyboard has power but doesn’t respond to your inputs. You can see that the num lock light indicator is on, and other key indicators are powered on, but whenever you press a key, your computer cannot recognize it.

3. Keyboard has power but isn’t detected by the computer’s operating system. You can see that light indicators of the keyboard are on, but your operating system doesn’t show that there is a keyboard attached (using device manager).

4. Some keyboard functions like key combinations don’t work. Some computers have special key combinations for added features. For example a laptop has FN+right arrow for decreasing its speaker volume. These keys just won’t work.

5. Computer beeps when you press a key. There are times when your computer releases a beep each and every time you press a key. This is quite annoying since you cannot even see an output on your screen, but you can hear an annoying beep with your every press. A beep usually indicates a hardware problem, but in this case, since the keyboard is powered on, there might be other factors causing it.

Ways to make my PC faster

In this article, I’m going to discuss reasons why your computer might be running slower than you’d like and some steps you can take to solve the problems. These possible solutions are simple and easy to perform. Anyone with a little computer savvy and common sense can do these tasks. Below are several reasons why your computer may be running slow and actions to take to try to solve the problem.

Reason #1: Too many Programs Running at Once. This may sound like a no-brainer, but when you’re busy working on your computer, you may not realize just how many programs you have active. To solve this problem the answer is to close the programs you’re currently not using. If you need some web pages for the work you’re doing, you could save it and/or print the pages you need to free up more space.

Reason #2: Your computer is more than three years old. Technology, as you know, is constantly evolving and improving. If you purchased your computer more than three years ago, there’s a good chance that it’s getting a little out of date. Sorry. That’s just the way technology is. But, take heart, there are solutions for your aging computer. It’s entirely feasible to upgrade the hard drive and RAM on your current computer. New cards can be purchased and easily installed. You can have a like-new computer for much less than buying a new one. I offer a guide later in this article which will help you with this installation.

Reason #3: Your Computer Needs Defragmented. Over time you install and uninstall dozens of programs on your computer. As this process is being done, gaps in your hard drive develop because these programs don’t always fill or vacate your hard drive correctly. These “gaps”, when there are many of them, cause your computer to run slowly. The solution is to run the defragmenting program included in your computer operating system. If you run a search for “defragment” or look in the “Help” section for your PC, you will receive detailed instructions on how to perform this task.

Another tip is when you install a new program or software on your PC, always restart it. Then check your computer’s performance after the install to make sure that installing that newest software didn’t cause a slowdown in your performance.

3D Glasses – The New Era of 3D Technology

3D films and the glasses used to view them have been around for a number of years, dating back to the 1950s. The basic concept behind 3D film is that the pictures are presented so that if you are wearing the appropriate glasses, it appears that the characters may be running at you, explosions are happening right before your eyes, the images on the screen are closer and appear to the audience in a three dimensional way bringing a new element to the viewing experience. While the technology has been around for a long time, there are multiple types of 3D glasses and they function in different ways.

Stereoscopic glasses – which are the regular type of 3D glasses that come to mind when you hear about 3D, are the first kind. These glasses put a red filter over one eye and a green or blue filter over the other eye. While you are watching something which has been filmed in 3D the glasses filter out all but the color over your eye presenting you with a three dimensional image as you are viewing the film. You will only see red images through your one eye and blue images through the other, and your eyes then naturally fill in the missing pieces. This causes different parts of the film to appear in 3 D.

With today’s technology, there are not only films, but some amusement park rides which incorporate 3D and these use polarized 3D to deliver the images. This is really the method that is being used by most film makers as it presents film in color with a much higher resolution and quality, so it is a much more popular option than the 3D films of the past. With 3D through polarized lenses, there are 2 projections of the film, each projection is presenting the film in two different polarizations. The 3D glasses worn for this type of film filter the polarizations that match your lenses which then causes the images on the screen to become three dimensional as you are watching.

As these innovations have taken 3D glasses and 3D viewing to a new level, people are clamoring for more and more options to watch in 3D, including more and more films and in some cases, even television viewing in their own homes. Having a handle on the science behind 3D gives us a new found respect for the process of bringing film and images into 3D and we can certainly enjoy it and appreciate it even more. So, those are the basics behind 3D, no go check out a movie, in 3D, of course.
